Ronald Edward Logan served in the US Army (Vietnam War) as an infantryman. He was honorably discharged for serious war injuries. Logan served the Lexington Fire Department for 31+ years, training over 1000 people in CPR. He spearheaded the effort to have a Vietnam Veterans Memorial built honoring the 51 Fayette Countians who died in the War. For 7 years he has served with the Freedom Festival Honor Guard which honors those veterans who continue to serve their communities. Active in his church and youth sports, Logan’s community service encompassed all things veterans and their families.
