Thomas W. Baker served in the United State Army during the Vietnam era. Baker is a successful entrepreneur who has excelled in advertising, sales, and promotion. He served on the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs, on the selection board for National Service Academy Nominees, and as a National Director of the Navy League of the United States. He advocated for a Kentucky bill providing significant tuition savings for post-9-11 veterans using their GI Bill benefits at Kentucky universities. His public service and volunteer work have been recognized with the President’s Volunteer Service Award, the Patrick Henry Award from the National Guard Association of the United States, the Boy Scouts, Jaycees, and Rotary Club of Lexington.
