The Lexington History Museum stands with the members and supporters of Black Lives Matter in their demands for justice, fairness and equal treatment, not just under the law, but in all of society. Education plays a major role in creating equality in society, and we at the Lexington History Museum strive to educate our community on our past as it comes to mark our present, and to define our future. We strive to open the eyes of all in our community to the shared experience of all humanity. We strive to create understanding, empathy, compassion, and cooperation in achieving the goals of justice and peace for all. We know that black lives matter, and black history matters, as well. The Lexington History Museum denounces the use of violence.
