Join us for a free presentation from 3 to 4:30  p.m. Sept. 17. 2017. The focus is "Baseball in the Bluegrass: The History of Central Kentucky Baseball." From the game's arrival to the formation of Major League Baseball and the parallel rise of the Negro League, through Happy Chandler's integration of professional baseball, Kentucky has played a rich role in American baseball history. Our panel will include Alan Stein, a founder of the Lexington Legends; Kentucky baseball enthusiast Jerry Sudduth; and State Rep. George Brown.
